Recipe for Healthy Tasty Chocolate Peanut Butter Jam Cookies

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas

2 cups rolled oats (quick cooking kind)

1/4 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/3 cup apple sauce (unsweetened)

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ginger

1/4 tsp. salt

Jam (Your choice: blueberry, blackberry, strawberry or you can even use any type of Jelly)

**If you do not like jam, you can eliminate it all together. **

Directions:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (or use a non-stick spray and spray well since there is no added fat in this recipe)

In a bowl add all your ingredients and stir well.

Let cookie mixture sit for 30 minutes and during this time, preheat your oven to 375 F

Drop tablespoon (or you can use teaspoon for smaller cookies, just adjust baking time) of mixture on cookie sheet.

Press lightly and indent with your thumb, drop some jam in the middle

Bake for 10 – 12 minutes.
