Growing up Italian

From learning to talk with our hands before we took our first step to mastering the art of twirling a forkful of spaghetti without splattering sauce on our Sunday best, I’m sharing a few of the rich tapestries that shape our culture, traditions, and some of the quirks and joys of being part of a boisterously expressive Italian family.

And we love every minute of it.

  1. I showed this to my Italian guy. He got a kick out of it. He’s telling me that you forgot to mention “La Florentine Torrone” candy. (I never heard of it but then I’m not Italian.)

    1. I’m so glad you both enjoyed the blog. There are so many other things as well. I’ll have to do a part two.

Yes, Torrone is delicious! I used to get a Torrone bar every Christmas, and after my died passed away, my older brother carried on the tradition, and I still get my torrone.

You have yourself a great guy there, my friend.

      Hugs
