Posted by Selena Robins Musings
This charismatic celebrity chef hates cilantro.
At seven years old, he set fire to his grandmother’s kitchen.
He explains why he reviewed his own cook book on Amazon. Bravo to him, I say.
He gives us insight into reality television.
Fabio is generously gifting EVERYONE free copies of all his eCookBooks.
Details below.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Fabio (Top Chef Contestant) on the phone before Christmas. I wish I could have taped our conversation so you could all appreciate his wit, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, infectious laughter, and warm personality all wrapped up with a delightful accent.
Here is a transcript of our conversation, (excluding all the laughter we both shared) plus a delicious easy-to-follow risotto recipe.

THE ROAD TO JUDE is about a wondrous journey into the afterlife, set against the backdrop of September 11th. In this story a young woman wakes up into an existence she can’t explain. Without memories or belongings, she ventures out into this world made of nothing but concrete. Along the way, she meets a fireman she calls Hero. He names her Pretty One. It’s a place where every encounter is symbolic.
Under Fire with Beth Cornelison plus a Contest to win a “hot” Special Ops Bodyguard
Posted by Selena Robins Musings
Please join me in welcoming, the multi-published and multi-talented, Beth Cornelison as she chats with us, introduces us to her Samhain Release, Under Fire, shares a recipe and is offering you all a chance to win a Paperback copy of her August Harlequin Release (contest details with book cover of the prize below).
Chatting with Beth:
Selena: If you could be in a reality show, which show would it be and why?
Beth: Hmm…tough question. I can tell you which one it would NOT be—Survivor! While I used to have more of a sense of adventure, I really love my creature comforts and would hate roughing it with bugs and snakes and no air conditioning. Yes, I’m spoiled! As for which one I might do…? I don’t know…maybe The Biggest Loser. I have a few pounds to lose and could use a trainer sometimes to motivate me to exercise! I really don’t watch much reality TV. To me and my life, it’s not at all realistic!
Selena: I’m with you on not going on anything like Survivor. I don’t even like camping, much less, scounging for delectable bugs.
Celestial Seduction – sound intriguing? Come meet the author enter a Contest to win Swag & Book
Posted by Selena Robins Musings
Welcome Jessica Subject and thank you for sharing your latest release with us, a recipe and giving our readers a chance to win some prizes (details listed below on how you can win a swag and a book plus HUGE savings on books).
I had the pleasure of reading Jessica’s debut novel, CELESTIAL SEDUCTION.
Review of Celestial Seduction by Selena Robins:
Celestial Seduction is a short sci-fi story, and still with its shorter length and sci-fi feel, the author has created two loveable and relatable leading characters, high sexual tension, a strong conflict and a good ending. The sex scene remains true to the characters, and at the same time it is a well balanced mix of sexy, adorable, and pulls at the reader’s heart strings. During the lovemaking scene, the hero displays a unique vulnerability, delivering a powerful sensual punch that makes the reader swoon for him, admire the heroine’s patience, smile and experience the sizzling sexual chemistry.
Jessica Subject has a strong writing style and a good handle on writing engaging dialogue, balancing her active prose with narration and vivid descriptive phrases. She threads the right amount of back story without being intrusive so the reader has a good handle on the characters.
I don’t read the sci-fi genre, but Jessica has made a fan out of me. Whether you’re a fan of sci-fi or not, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Celestial Seduction for a sweet and sexy read. Readers who are looking for good writing, a distinctive plot and characters will enjoy Celestial Seduction and look forward to reading more from Jessica Subject.
Hot Spanish Lover – A Tapa Recipe & a Contest – Welcome Kimberley Troutte

Thank you for spending time with us, discussing Catch Me in Castile, sharing a recipe and generously offering a prize to one lucky blog commentary. (Contest details below).
Selena: If you had the opportunity to join a circus, what would be your dream job with them?
Kimberley: I had to think long and hard about this one. I like lions, but I wouldn’t want to try and tame one, or stick my head in its mouth. Hmm. Maybe I’d join the Cirque du Soleil and learn some of those amazingly beautiful acrobatic feats.
